COVID-19 Testing Requirement when Traveling to the U.S. from the People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR

Effective January 5, 2023 at 12:01 Eastern Time, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require a negative COVID-19 test for people traveling to the U.S. from the People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR.

Students who are traveling to the U.S. January 5 or later must ensure they comply with this new requirement.
