Eligibility
During your final quarter, you can request authorization to enroll part-time in the remaining credits needed to complete your program. Only students in their final quarter of coursework may apply for this authorization.
How to Apply
Applying for FQRCL
During your final quarter, you should enroll in any credits necessary to complete your program. If approved for a Final Quarter RCL, this can be fewer than the typical full-time enrollment requirements.
Submit the RCL- Final Quarter request through the MyISSS portal.
Allow 2-3 weeks for ISS processing. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. At this point, you are allowed to drop any classes as needed. You may still be required to go through the Adviser-assisted Drop process.
Other Considerations
- When you are approved for Final Quarter Reduced Course Load authorization, your DS-2019 will be shortened to the last day of your final quarter if necessary.
- The RCL authorization will not appear on yourDS-2019.
- You are expected to graduate during the quarter of authorization. If you are not able to graduate, please consult an ISS advisor as soon as possible.
- Final Quarter RCL authorizations can only be approved twice.
