Dear reader,

Navigating life as an international student often comes with uncertainty—from academic pressures to cultural adjustments. Recent challenges in immigration policy have added to this stress. It's normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious—but there are various resources on campus to help you. For example, the UW Counseling Center provides a safe, inclusive environment to help you explore the challenges of life and learning through counseling, drop-in support, and workshops.

ISS has partnered with the UW Counseling Center in sponsoring "Coloring Through Uncertainty"—a relaxed, drop-in event with art supplies, tea, and a calm space to reflect or simply unwind (see details). No artistic skill needed—just show up, take a breath, and connect with others in a welcoming environment. You belong here at the UW, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
