We've reached the midpoint of the spring quarter, meaning the end of the academic year is quickly approaching. This is a great time to pause and think ahead.

If you’re graduating this quarter, make sure you’re planning your next steps whether that’s applying for post-completion employment, preparing to depart the U.S., or transitioning to a new program. If you’re continuing your studies, take a moment to review your I-20 or DS-2019 and confirm that your program end date is still accurate and not approaching expiration. Apply for an extension if necessary.

For students considering employment authorization, now is the time to act. Applications for CPT and OPT should be submitted as early as possible, as processing times are expected to increase.
