International Student Services is also here to help with any immigration-related questions or concerns. This month, we’re hosting information sessions on CPT and OPT for students interested in employment opportunities. Please remember that employment authorization is required for any off-campus work or for on-campus work exceeding 20 hours per week during the academic term.

We’re also hiring additional student assistants to support our office operations. This is a great opportunity to gain on-campus work experience and be part of the ISS team! More information on this can be found further in the newsletter.

U.S. Government Shutdown
|
As of October 1st, the U.S. government has shutdown due to a budget dispute. However, this shutdown should not affect USCIS processes such as OPT applications and other fee-based immigration functions. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to ISS.
