This is an important reminder about immigration restrictions on online enrollment for students in F-1 and J-1 status.
|
- F-1 and J-1 students may count no more than one online course toward the full-time enrollment requirement each academic term.
- Any coursework taken in excess of the full-time requirement may be online.
Exceeding online course limits may result in a violation of your immigration status, even if you are enrolled in the correct number of total credits.

Full-time enrollment requirement

All F-1 and J-1 students must maintain full-time enrollment each quarter:
|
- Undergraduate and professional students: at least 12 credits per quarter
- Graduate students: usually 10 credits per quarter
