It’s hard to believe, but the new academic year is just around the corner! If you’ll be traveling back to Seattle, now’s a great time to double-check that all your travel and immigration documents are ready. Make sure your passport will still be valid at least six months past your return date, your U.S. visa is still valid, and your I-20 or DS-2019 is accurate. Don’t forget to check your travel signature; it should be less than a year old. Taking care of these details now can save you a lot of stress later.

These changes could affect how and when you apply for a visa, so it’s important to stay informed before making travel plans. You can keep up with the latest government policies and announcements on our Government Updates page.
