International Student Services

Tax Workshops for International Students

International Student Services cannot advise on taxes; we are immigration specialists, not tax specialists.

However, ISS purchases a tax software program, Glacier Tax Prep (GTP), for F and J students to use to prepare their non-resident income tax returns.

We offer Glacier Tax Prep Drop-In Advising to assist students in the use of the software only, not to answer tax questions. The software program will assist with tax questions and tax filing.

Glacier Tax Prep Drop-In Advising

All Glacier Tax Prep Drop-In Advising Sessions for 2018 are finished.

  • Come to the ISS front desk.
  • Choose “Taxes” on the laptop to sign in.
  • Advising is first come, first served, and space is limited.

Glacier Tax Prep (GTP) became available March 14th, 2018. We have to wait until all the international students receive their tax forms before the program can be made available each year.

Student Fiscal Services Tax Workshops

This class is co-sponsored by International Student Services Office and the payroll office. Class is appropriate for all international students. Class is free of charge and you do not have to register to attend.

  • All Student Fiscal Services Tax Workshops for 2018 are finished.
