Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
Visit the the IRS Website or call 1-800-829-1040 for telephone assistance.
State that you are a nonresident alien for tax purposes to ensure being connected with a qualified IRS staff person.
IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers provide face-to-face assistance if you are unable to get your questions answered online or by phone. Assistance is available for preparing your basic individual income tax return if your income is $49,000 or less. For locations and more eligibility information, visit the IRS’s Face-to-face Tax Help.
Seattle Public Library
The Seattle Public Library, United Way of King County, and AARP work together to offer free tax preparation services at several locations. Reservations are required at some branches. For schedules and locations, visit Seattle Public Library’s Free Tax Help.
