Beware of Scammers

Students continue to be vicitims of vicious scams. Remember that the U.S. government, social security office, or ISS will never call you and demand that you pay us money. Scammers are using your immigration status to scare you. If you get a scam call, hang up. Contact ISS to confirm your status. Or, check your profile on MyISSS to confirm that you have an active SEVIS record. Report the scam to UW Police Department.
